We’re planning a soup and chowder cook-off tentatively scheduled for Saturday February 25, 2017. The plan is for you and your neighbors to make a pot of your favorite soups or chowders at home, and then bring them to the Marion Community Center, along with bread, biscuits, or rolls. We hope to have restaurateurs and cooking professionals judge each category — soup or chowder. We will provide beverages.

Prizes will be awarded for the the top two finishers in each category. We will also hold a 50/50 raffle! (The winner will get half the proceeds from the ticket sales.)

Admission will be $5.00 with a $2.00 per person charge to eat, and any additional donations gladly accepted.
