The Marion Fire Auxiliary provided a grant to cover the purchase of a compressor designed to safely recharge our firefighters’ self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with purified air! SCBA’s protect our firefighters’ ability to breathe during dangerous fire and HAZMAT incidents. The compressor is installed and in use. We are grateful to the Auxiliary volunteers and all those who donated money to the Auxiliary.
