Fire Update 8/20/2020 — Each fire is 100% contained, but will continue to be patrolled over the next several days. We would like to thank Montana DNRC for their support with both engines and air support to help control these fires quickly. As always, thank you to our community for your continued support! We love the community we serve and are so blessed to live where we do!

We have at least two new fire starts in our area located in the Gunsight Pass Area (between Little Bitterroot Lake and Lost Prairie). Both fires are small right now and crews are on scene. You may see aircraft operating in this area as well. Currently there is no need for evacuations. Please give the crews and aircraft space to operate in. We will provide additional information when available.

The weather continues to be hot and dry as we near the end of our summer. Let’s do our best as a community to avoid any human caused fires.
