Host Your Meeting or Party in Our Community Center!
Attached to our main fire station is the Marion Community Center, which is managed by the Marion Fire Auxiliary. To pay for maintenance and upkeep, the Auxiliary rents the community center out to members of the public for a nominal fee for non-commercial use (for example, birthday parties, family reunions, and homeowners association meetings). Sorry, we do not allow vendors to rent the community center to sell goods or services.
The Marion Community Center is wheelchair-accessible and has restrooms. It also has an attached kitchen available for rent. The Marion Community Center is large enough to comfortably host gatherings of up to 125 people.
In addition to the rental fee, users must provide a $100 refundable deposit. Deposits are usually returned the same day of the event—after the room is inspected for damage and general cleanliness/tidiness.
Rental Fee Schedule
- Charity or public-service user: $0 (room only/no kitchen) or $35 (with kitchen)
- Non-commercial user: $35 (room only/no kitchen) or $70 (with kitchen)
If the community center is unavailable for rental, the calendar below will either list an event or show “busy” for private parties who have rented the space.
