Last night, a homeowner on Round Mountain called 9-1-1 to report his house was on fire. Unfortunately, when firefighters arrived on scene, flames had fully engulfed the home. Seventeen Marion FD volunteer firefighters responded to last night’s structure fire, as well as firefighters from Smith Valley FD. Last night (01/10/2017), many of our firefighters and emergency medical responders and technicians participated in a training event on handling propane-related emergencies.
